Bench Joiner Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Manufacture bespoke joinery items for in store and exhibition displays
Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Assemble and fit components to precise measurements and quality standards.
Sanding, finishing, and preparing wood surfaces as required.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Bench Joiner Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment is essential.
Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.
NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Joinery (preferred but not essential).
Bench Joiner Remuneration
Starting hourly rate between £15 and £18 per hour dependant on experience.
40hrs per week Mon-Friday 8am-4.30pm with 30min lunch and 2no 15min breaks morning/afternoon.
