CAMHS Practitioner

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Crisis CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to work in NHS Derby on a temporary agency contract.

Working Hours:

Shifts available Monday to Sunday Minimum of 4 shifts per week Shift timings: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Pay

Day- £27Ltd an hour (paid via an umbrella) £24.43 Paye Inclusive £21.80 Paye Exclusive

There are uplifts at weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

Assessment & Treatment: Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs. Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Crisis Intervention: Support children and adolescents in crisis, providing timely intervention and management. Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Safeguarding: Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable young people.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting. Knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage challenging situations effectively. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

A recognised mental health qualification (RMN, Social Work, or equivalent). Experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) is preferred.
