Commercial Director - €80k+ package - Netherlands

We are looking for a superstar Commercial Director to lead this established team to continued success.  Your overall responsibility will be to improve the market position and continued financial growth of the company. This will be both a strategic operational and sales role, as well as overseeing the direct team you will have dotted lines into all aspects of the business including procurement, legal and finance.

More About the role:

As Commercial Director, you will be tasked with engaging with the customer base to enhance and develop the relationship in a mutually beneficial manner. Pricing and contractual obligation will be at the core of this role, so a fundamental understanding of the everchanging landscape of supply chain and procurement will be key. As well as developing and maintaining strong operational relationships, sound sales understanding is important. From a sales stand point, you will be involved in both existing accounts and new business.

Ideal Commercial Director:

Strong account management experience within a hospitality setting where oversite of multiple customers and stakeholders is key.Global experience would be a definite plus for this role and although travel would not feature too much in this position, an understanding of regional differences would help you hit the ground running.A sales understanding particularly around retender of existing accounts will be needed to succeed.Strong financial acumen of P&L management, pricing structures and contractual development is required.
