RDF Operatives

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for RDF Operatives to work for our prestigious client based in Nottingham.

Duties will include:

To carry out duties according to the programme of works and work instructions. This will include mobile plant and shredderTo work in line with the Rota, this includes weekendsTo work safely whilst maintaining the efficient operation of the RDF Plant equipment including mobile plantLiaise with the facilities supervisor and assistant to maintain efficient and effectiveOperationsUndertake all tasks in accordance with the company’s Quality and Environmentalmanagement system and Health and Safety RegulationsEnsure materials are processed in a timely manner to achieve maximum throughput at all timesEnsure turnaround times are met regarding the tipping and loading of vehiclesInspection of all input material and reporting of any non-conforming loadsInspection of all output material ensuring the quality meets with customers specificationTo undertake the necessary daily checks to the facility, to ensure it is safe and tidy to accept waste and site usersTo ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the areaTo comply with the company Business Management SystemTo assist with other parts of the operation as and when requiredEnsure that all related documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Yellow plant license – training will be providedPrevious experience working on a waste treatment facility is desirableAbility to communicate effectively within a teamWork on own initiative as well as part of a teamReliable, punctual and with good communication skills

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 6am – 4.30pm

Rate of Pay: £15phr
