Retail Manager

In the Retail Manager role, you will be:

Leading and motivating a small team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and exceptional customer service.Managing inventory to keep the shop well-stocked, overseeing purchasing from suppliers while adhering to the established budget.Coordinating with existing concessions to ensure adequate stock levels.Overseeing the operations of onsite facilities.Opening and closing the establishment, handling cash and card machine transactions, and managing daily financial operations.Ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols within the workplace.

To be considered for the Retail Manager role, you will need:

Previous experience in leading and managing operational teams.Experience in delivering sales and inventory targets within a dynamic retail environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with managing budgets and identifying development opportunities.Strong background in inventory management, including purchasing from suppliers and maintaining budget adherence.Experience in coordinating with concessions or similar entities to ensure optimal stock levels.Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams & Excel

This temporary, full-time position involves working 37.5 hours per week, spread over 5 out of 7 days, including alternate weekends and potentially bank holidays. The working hours are from 9:00 to 17:00.
The hourly pay rate is competitive, starting from £18.00 + depending on skills and experience, and  you'll be based in the stunning surroundings of the Conwy valleys.
