Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprentice

If you're a friendly, caring individual with a passion for working in childcare, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. You'll gain valuable experience and a thorough understanding of all aspects of nursery operations.

Duties within the role include:   

Helping out with activities with the children Personal Care of the children Setting up activities and clearing them away Ensuring that the nursery is kept clean and tidy Helping out at meal times Greeting parents and children Ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed Changing nappies and feeding Work with children in the nursery, individually and in groups to assist and improve their development Attend training sessions and meetings relevant to the post. Other general duties as and when required

This apprenticeship is work-based. Therefore, you will be based at the employer’s business address.

Training Outcome:
Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
The Old Co operative Day nursery is a friendly and independent nursery with a real family atmosphere set in the small village of Gotham, just south of Nottingham. The Nursery premises are spacious, light and bright with designated rooms for Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School, we also have our Before and After School Club, The Batcave. The Nursery has a large outdoor play area as well as a grassed garden area. The local park with a children's playground along with the wide expanses of Gotham hills and woods are within easy walking distance.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, between 9.00am - 4.00pm.
