Administration apprentice
Answering phone, forwarding calls or taking messages where appropriate, passing on in a timely manner.
Monitoring answering machine. Downloading voicemail messages and passing on as appropriate in a timely manner.
Greeting visitors to reception and preparing drinks/food as requested.
Tidying up of meeting room following client visits.
Monitor company (info@) general emails, using initiative to respond or distribute where necessary.
Making outgoing calls to clients where required and appropriate
Monitoring stationery levels and request stock as required.
Assisting with new client set up by carrying out Smartsearch checks and preparing documentation to comply with the company’s anti-money laundering process.
Filing paperwork.
Preparing banking of cheques into company / traveling to local bank (walking distance).
Taking payments over the phone using Worldpay system.
Opening, logging and sorting incoming post.
Daily logging and franking of outgoing post, including redirect post.
Any other administration duties consistent with job role as required and general assistance to other administration staff as required.
Booking in and out of client records.
Scanning and photocopying of documents when required.
Saving and downloading of approvals on the Iris Openspace system.
Running errands as required, such as fetching milk and walking to the post office with special delivery/ signed for packages.
Ad hoc assistance with audio typing from dictation as required.
Training:
This is a work based programme which means that predominantly, your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours.
We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training campus. These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme.
Training Outcome:
Full time, permanent position will be offered upon successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:15. 1 hour lunch unpaid.
