Assist with all tasks associated with site investigations
Describe soil and rock to British Standard
Assist in the preparation of site investigation reports
Assist in the preparation of Health and Safety documention
Assist in the supervision of site work.
Assist with testing soil and rock in the laboratory
Training:
Geoscientist (integrated degree) Apprenticeship Standard:
Training is to be provided by Keele University both at Keele and remotely Training at Keele is to be delivered in week blocksTraining Outcome:
Further progression on the Geotechnics training Scheme upto Senior Engineer Chartership with the Geological Society for the right candidate

Geotechnics….it’s been in the name since 1983. We deal with the engineering and environmental interaction between earth materials and the built environment. We work with soil, rock, groundwater and other man made materials to help ground truth and understand the site-specific engineering behaviour beneath our feet. We offer value through our research, investigation, testing, monitoring, reporting and evaluation to reduce the risks associated with the unknowns at pre-construction stage.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm when working in the office. Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 4.00pm when working in the laboratory or onsite. You may be required to work additional hours in excess of your normal hours of work.
