Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care to children who access the nursery Ensure a high standard and quality of care is given at all times Work in partnership with leaders, managers, and other staff members to ensure the setting runs effectively on a daily basis Work together as a team to provide a positive, structured, and enabling environment in which children are respected and are treated as individuals which will contribute to their play, development, and learning Build up and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to enable children’s needs to be met Work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework (EYFS), and other relevant legislation

Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate there is the possibility of ongoing employment upon completion of the relevant qualification

Employer Description:
Our 40 place day nursery offers a range of sessions for children aged between 0 and 5 years of age. The nursery consists of the Mini Movers Unit (0-2 years) and the Early Years Unit (2 years +). The staff team at Kevin Pearce hold a range of qualifications from Level 3 to degree qualified. All staff hold a paediatric first aid, food hygiene, food allergen and safeguarding certificate as standard. We strive to ensure that every child’s individual needs are met. We do this by supporting and developing their individual potential, with the aim of achieving the learning and development objectives set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. We plan and monitor children’s development using the Birth to Five Matters document. Kevin Pearce has the fantastic additional benefit of having extensive outdoor facilities. We have a large secure artificial grassed garden area, a Forest School with a fully equipped POD, a growing area with a green house and a separate outdoor space for the Mini Movers.

Setting is open Monday- Friday 7.45am- 5.45pm Shifts to be confirmed
