Childcare Apprenticeship - Merritime Nursery

Join a fabulous early years TEAM - We are a 60 place nursery situated within HMS Sultan in Gosport Hampshire. We are dedicated early years practitioners, offering children a secure nurturing environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

To keep the nursery clean, tidy, safe and welcoming to parents, children and visitors. To promote a happy and positive atmosphere. Attend staff meeting and training courses. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children within your care. To undertake necessary duties asked by senior staff member. To abide by all nursery policies and procedures. To work in all nursery rooms when required.

Training:

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator L3. 

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.

We understand the importance of getting a jump start on education at an early age, and we work closely with our children and their families to ensure a seamless approach.     We have built up an excellent reputation for offering a kind, caring, safe environment for children to explore and learn in.  Our staff are passionate about the children we care for.  Vanessa and her dedicated team of  practitioners, ensure that each and every child and their family is made to feel welcome and cared for throughout their time at the setting.  Some of the staff have been working here for 10+ years!!

Working Hours :
30+ Hours per week (Shifts range between 8am-6pm)
