Early Years Educator Apprentice

To operate a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of your key children in conjunction with other team members To plan, develop and keep records of your key children’s development and share this with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life To follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure Support all team members and engage in developing an excellent working environment Liaise with and work closely with parents/carers to deliver an individual learning and development journey for your key children To be flexible within working practices of the nursery. Help where needed, to include the undertaking of cleaning equipment and preparing snacks etc as designated by the Nursery Managers or the Senior Childcare Practitioner Read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role and the day-to-day running of the nursery To respect the confidentiality of all information received To promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors To implement the Childcare planning according to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

Training:

Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Training will include paediatric first aid qualification.

Cliff Nursery offers a stimulating and rewarding experience for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a caring and friendly environment. Here at Cliff Nursery our objective is to develop each little person to become confident and happy, building the social skills and learning foundations to help them make a seamless transition to school.

Working Hours :
Hours are 30 including college + overtime as and when required. Monday - Friday 7.45 am - 6pm on a rota basis.
