Mechanical Engineering Fitter Apprentice

The four-year apprenticeship will cover training on fitting and assembly for our diverse range of grinding machines in the following departments:

Front Line Fitting Pipe Fitting  Unit Fitting 

Apprentices will complete 12 months of technical training at college, followed by three years of vocational training at Fives Landis. Other training opportunities will also be available to support the apprenticeship training programme including:

IOSH - Working Safely Abrasive Wheels Slinging and Lifting

Training:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship the apprentice will gain a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Fitting. 

Upon completing your apprenticeship, Fives Landis offers career prospects into other areas of the business including:

Manufacturing, Production and Design Engineering, Service Engineering and Inspection.
