1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Overview:
Integra Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

This role involves providing personalized support to a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and PDA profile.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be more than just a support provider; you will be a trusted friend and confidant.

You will engage in daily activities with the pupil, fostering a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of resources and activities for each week, tailored to the pupils needs and interests
Assisting with daily routines and educational tasks
Participating in fun activities such as doing makeup and making bracelets for concerts
Building a trusting relationship through consistent and empathetic interaction
Encouraging social and emotional development

Requirements:

Experience working with pupils who have high-level anxiety (social anxiety and history of panic attacks), ASD with PDA profile and Masking.
Driving licence and access to own vehicle
Previous experience working in the same or similar role is advantageous
Collect educational attainment evidence from 1-1 sessions
