BI Developer – Anaplan / Cognos – Addlestone
BI Developer required for a leading construction company based in Addlestone.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Anaplan, PowerBI and experience with Cognos Analytics or related software.

You will work primarily with these applications, alongside any other application-specific reporting tools that ensure timely reporting and better decision making to drive our business forward.

The role will cover all BI aspects, from design and build, Extract Transfer Load (ETL) and all BI associated reporting outputs.

The salary on offer for this position is between £60,000 and £65,000 and plus car allowance and benefits.

This role is hybrid with 3 days required on site per week.

Key Responsibilities

Support and develop business reporting, modelling, and data integration systems.
Maximise the value of enterprise information assets and analytics to provide better decision-making insights – clearly linked to business strategy.
Help transition the business to a new ERP (Coins) and forecast modelling (Anaplan) in relation to associated reporting and data integration
Oversee business information compliance related to storage and reporting.
Identify and prioritise business requirements, ensuring products are successfully embedded and monitored upon implementation.
Act as super user for all Business Information related projects, representing IT where required.
Maintain documents related to the data warehouse and business logic - used in semantic data models.
Support the ongoing stability of the ETL tool, Informatica, and the Cognos data warehouse - as part of day-to-day running and upgrades/developments.


Key Skills

Experience of Anaplan model/dashboard development.

Ideally with the new Anaplan reporting functionality
Cognos experience including Framework Manager, Reporting, Dashboarding, Data Modules or related software
SQL Data Warehouse management and development
Knowledge of Informatica ETL
SQL SSIS / SSRS
Experience working with Microsoft Power BI
Ability to develop complex BI reports, using a multi data layer toolset (Anaplan and Cognos)
Understanding of the need for comprehensive formal technical documentation such as User Requirements, Functional Specifications, able to translate these into the creation of technical specifications, programming, test and UAT scripts.
