Child Support Assistant 1:1

Integra Education are currently seeking to recruit a 1:1 support assistant to work at the Family home based in the Leeds area.

You will be working on a 1-to-1 basis with the child at the home, creating activities and resources with the oversight and direction of the Lead Tutor.
Responsibilities:

Working with the pupil on a 1-to-1 basis
Report writing and note taking
Innovatively engage difficult to reach young people through their interests and create activities and resources with the oversight and direction of the Lead Tutor

Requirements of this role:

Experience working with pupils who have a high-level anxiety – Social anxiety and history of panic attacks.
Driving licence and ability to travel as and when the job requires - essential
The candidate should feel confident to collect educational attainment evidence from 1-1 sessions as directed by the Lead Tutor.
The ability to work with a wide range of professionals and deliver provision as directed from reports.
An excellent understanding of safeguarding and the willingness to be a safeguarding adult within the home.

Desirable but not essential for this role:

Experience working with a service dog
Experience working in a self directed education environment.
An understanding of EOTAS packages
Aptitude working within NCFE framework.
