Paediatric Occupational Therapist

A leading special education school in South London is now looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary therapies team, supporting a holistic service for pupils with sensory, learning, and physical disabilities.This specialist school provides excellent education and wider learning opportunities for children aged 2-19 years with vision or multiple sensory impairments, with and without additional disabilities and medical needs such as epilepsy and joint hypermobility.

The school also has an “Outstanding”-rated residential provision for up to 24 boarders, supporting pupils to make friends, explore new interests, and develop important life skills outside of the classroom.As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will join an integrated team of physio-, occupational and speech therapy professionals in delivering high quality, targeted paediatric interventions.

(Essential) HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist(Essential) At least 2 years’ post-registration experience in paediatrics, ideally including therapies supporting neurological conditions and co-morbidities(Desirable) Post-registration experience within a school setting (mainstream or SEN)(Desirable) Experience with clinical supervision and mentoring of junior team members
