Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Salary: Basic £28k - £30k (DOE) + Excellent callout rates + Benefits

Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Client:

Our client is a well-established engineering firm, providing extensive services in installing and maintaining fire alarm systems for both commercial and residential properties.

The Role:

As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in installing, servicing, and preparing quotations for fire extinguisher contracts.

Responsibilities:

* Follow a structured schedule of appointments, which may include remedial works.
* Perform duties on additional fire safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency lights, and smoke alarms.
* Reporting to the Managing Director.
* Work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.


Requirements:

Essential:

* Previously worked as a Fire Engineer or in a similar role.
* Experience in the installation and repair of fire safety systems.
* Background in maintenance or testing.
* IFEDA or equivalent qualifications.
* Completion of relevant manufacturer training courses.
* Possess computer skills.


Desirable:

* At least 2 years of experience in fire extinguisher service & maintenance.
* GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
* Additional certifications from FIA Training Foundation.
