Laboratory Technician – Life Science Instrumentation

Newton Colmore is working with a leading manufacturer of life science instruments in Cambridge, and we are searching for an experienced laboratory technician to join their team.

This is a key role for this company as they ramp up production of their technology, and you will be working closely in a tight knit team of technicians and engineers.

A key aspect of this role is the hands-on support the laboratory technician will provide to the research and development teams.

This will be mainly focused on the preparation and evaluation of the company’s complex instrument that is at the intersection of science and engineering.

This will also include the writing and reviewing of standard operating procedures for assembling their technology, as well for chemical reagents.

To succeed in this role, we are searching for a scientist, ideally from a chemistry background who has experience with chemical reagents and complex laboratory instrumentation.

Any additional experience with surface coatings would be highly advantageous.
