SEND Improvement Lead

SEND Improvement Lead - Chichester
Location: Chichester - Required to be present in West Sussex 3 days per week, dependant on meetings etc.
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: £550 - £650 per day Ltd.
West Sussex County Council are looking for a SEND Improvement Lead to join their team in Chichester on an interim basis.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of SEND at a senior leadership level, preferably within a local authority.


Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the SEND Improvement Programme
Ensure that the SEND Improvement Programme is delivered on time and within budget
Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Ensure that the SEND Improvement Programme is aligned with the company's objectives and priorities

Requirements:

Understanding of the DfE SEND & AP Change Programme and the DfE Delivering Better Value Framework
Experience of leading SEND improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong project management skills
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data
