Head Chef – CaribbeanSalary: USD$48,000 - $60,000 + Accommodation + Medical + Work Permit + Flights + VacationLocation: Port Louis, GrenadaMy client is seeking a dedicated Head Chef as they prepare to open a new establishment later this year.

With a focus on providing upscale amenities and services, including luxurious accommodations, fine dining experiences, and state-of-the-art facilities, you'll play a key role in creating memorable culinary experiences for the guests.Responsibilities:
Oversee inventory and purchasing to source best quality at best price amongst food vendorsEngage daily in the preparation of food to ensure execution and quality standards are metMaintain a safe working environment and educate & train on safety practices/proceduresParticipate in the annual budgeting processTrain and develop team members on technical and professional skills for future growth opportunities
Key Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a similar roleProven leadership experience in a professional kitchen, with a team of 25+Caribbean experience an assetKnowledge of Mediterranean cuisineExceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team building, staff development, and fostering a positive work culture
