Tenancy and Estate Management Officer Charnwood, Leicestershire Temporary Full TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tenancy and Estate Management Officer to join a team in Charnwood on a full-time temporary ongoing basis.

The Tenancy and Estate Management Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality tenancy and estate management services to our customers while upholding the vision and business objectives of the company.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within Social Housing / property/ tenancy sustainment
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and current issues within the housing sector, including the impact of homelessness
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
Good working knowledge of statistical analysis, and understanding of financial issues
Knowledge of the Welfare Benefit system

Role Expectations

Ensure that customers remain at the heart of all services, delivering an excellent and responsive service to tenants and stakeholders alike
Work collaboratively within the Landlord Services Team, supporting colleagues, fostering mutual respect, and contributing to a well-motivated and empowered team environment
Actively engage with customers and stakeholders, promoting customer involvement and conducting estate walkabouts to address community needs and aspirations
Take ownership of the tenancy and estate management for designated housing areas, managing tenancies, ensuring compliance with conditions, and undertaking necessary actions regarding breaches of tenancy
Participate in reviews of tenancy and estate management strategies, policies, and procedures, contributing to the development and implementation of team objectives
Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and organizational provisions governing service delivery, including maintaining accurate housing information and managing information securely
Develop working relationships with colleagues, as well as key partners
Liaise with external partners, including local authorities and support agencies, and ensure effective service is delivered
