Playworker Apprentice

Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at King Athelstan Primary School in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey (KT1).

Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro-actively encourage children to participate.

Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of 'snack time' Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary) Develop strong relationships with all children at the After School Club ensuring every child has as much FUN at the club as possible Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day

Training:

Playworker Level 2.

Training will be at home, the workplace or Twickenham Training Centre.

This will be one day per week.

Training Outcome:

Playworker full-time, teaching assistant or early years educator.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 2:45pm - 6pm and 4-hours of apprenticeship study to be taken outside of working hours but will still be paid.
