Apprentice Teaching Assistant

Your duties will include: 

Supporting students with SEND in lessons to help them access learning and make academic progress. Working under the direction of the class teacher. Assisting in the school’s SEMH base, supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs. Helping maintain and update student support plans, passports and records. Supervising and assisting with duties such as break, lunch time and exam invigilation. Supporting the running of after-school clubs and enrichment activities.

Training:

Teaching Assistant Standard Level 3. Training is delivered in the workplace. 

Training Outcome:

Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday 8am-4pm Tuesday 8am-4pm Wednesday 8am-4pm Thursday 8am-4pm Friday 8am-3:30pm (Half an hour unpaid lunch break across all days)
