Laser Operator

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Laser Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working 4 shifts Monday to Thursday, with an hourly rate upto £18.00 per hour along with regular overtime, ongoing training and development and free parking.They specialise in providing a range of metal forming processes to meet their client’s needs, with state-of-the-art equipment, due to rapid growth they are looking for an experienced Laser Operator to build and strengthen the team.Laser Operator Duties:

Setting and operating CNC Laser Machines
Batch work and one-off assignments
Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information
Inspecting and maintaining quality control before and after production
Assisting in other areas when required

Laser Operator Experience:

Experience of working in an engineering environment or similar
Ability to read an interpret engineering drawings
Operating the CNC in a leading or assisting capacity
Knowledge of a variety of steel alloy grades
Experience of driving a Counterbalance Fork Lift would be advantageous

What is on offer to the Laser Operator:

Paying up to £18.00 per dependant on experience
Working Nights Monday to Thursday
