Role: Civil Engineer

Our client are recruiting for a Civil Engineer based in Galway.

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing construction projects, ensuring they meet legal requirements and building codes.

The Civil Engineer will also collaborate with other engineers and contractors to evaluate construction sites, develop blueprints and plans, and ensure the safe and successful completion of projects within budget and on time.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
Demonstrated experience in a similar engineering role, with experience in project management and construction
Strong knowledge of construction principles, building codes, and legal regulations
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant software programs
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a team
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Licensure or certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
Experience with sustainable design and building practices is a plus
