Electrician

This is an Electrician position working with a UK based EPCM company which specialises in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants / equipment within the chemical, water and gas sectors.

This Electrician position will be based on the site of a leading Speciality Chemical Manufacturer, located in Halifax.
This company is looking to add a skilled individual to their operation on a standard days basis, paying up to £21 / hour and complimented by a strong benefits package which is inclusive of an early finish on a Friday, private health care plan and enhanced pension scheme.
Responsibilities of the Electrician;

The Electrician will engage in a training and development programme to increase and maintain technical skills.
Progressing towards company funded qualifications – COMPEX, HNC etc.
Building an in depth understanding of the manufacturing site and regulations to become a technical specialist.
The Electrician will complete safety checks on systems and calibration work on instrumentation systems for legislative regulations in accordance with procedures laid down to ensure compliance with our COMAH, PPC, ISO 9002/14001 accreditations.

Ideally candidates will have a strong background in working as an Electrician within a Manufacturing capacity.

The successful candidate will hold qualifications in COMPEX, as well as an apprenticeship level 3 in an Electrical discipline.
Aside from the main technical tasks, these successful individual will get the opportunity to work and learn other areas of the manufacturing site that otherwise they may not get the opportunity to do.
