Senior Social Worker

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Forensic Learning Disability and Autism Team.

About the team
This team specialises in working with a varied caseload of working age adults with learning disabilities/ autism who have either committed an offense or display behaviours linked with offending.

The specific role within the team may require action as the Social Supervisor under Section 37/41 Mental Health Act.

The team works very closely with both the voluntary and private sector to ensure the right care and resources are given to service user and their families/ carers.

About you
Experience within a forensic or learning disabilities setting as well as supervisory experience is key to being successful in this role.

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience is essential in order to be considered for this position.
