Maintenance Engineer Sedgefield

Exciting Opportunity for Maintenance Engineer in the Newton Aycliffe Area, offering multiple benefits such as; up to 43k salary, 33 days holiday, auto-enrolment to Royal London Pension, Healthshield plan covering Dental, optical and physio and Life insurance 1x basic salary.

Key Requirements:

Proven ability in diagnostic fault finding under production pressure
Mechanical expertise with essential electrical experience
Knowledge of TPM principles and computerized management systems (preferred)
Responsibility for PPM throughout the building
18th Edition certification for electrical work (if electrical bias, advantageous but not essential)

Key Duties:

Execute planned maintenance activities as per the schedule
Attend and repair breakdowns, reporting all actions and necessary follow-up
Proactively prevent equipment failures and enhance overall equipment performance
Undertake necessary training for skill and knowledge enhancement
Work under departmental and site KPIs for maximizing business performance

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

HNC standard (or equivalent) or higher in an Engineering discipline
Time-served with Mechanical or Electrical bias to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
Post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment (plastic packaging environment advantageous)
Proven skills in preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
