Planning Solicitor

An international highly regarded law firm is looking for a planning solicitor to join its leading European real estate team in their Manchester office.
This role would be best suited to a solicitor with experience from a newly qualified level upwards and there isn’t any upper limit to experience for this role as it’s a growth position.

More senior candidates will be considered for a position to work with senior Partners and be valued as key member of the wider firm.

The team is well serviced at all levels so it’s not about ‘plugging a gap’ but finding the right person, who is looking for a long-term opportunity to serve an incredibly impressive client base within a well-liked and social team.
The successful planning solicitor will work within the European Real Estate team, which spans multiple jurisdictions, you will experience the fullest possible range of real estate transactions advising all types of investors, developers, financers and occupiers about a variety of projects.


Based in Manchester, you will be part of an agile and successful team.

The role will involve supporting / working alongside partners and senior associates in the Planning practice in connection with major real estate transactions, infrastructure projects, compulsory purchase and compensation matters, planning applications and appeals, EIA, highways matters and judicial review.

You will work with the real estate team and regularly deal with multi-million pounds transactions and significant projects acting for some of the largest investors (ranging from institutional investors to private equity and overseas investors) as well as developers and infrastructure companies.
You will be a team player with an interest in development planning, infrastructure planning and regeneration.

You will be a qualified solicitor with experience in real estate or energy/infrastructure law.
