Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science subjects to students with special educational needs.

You will adapt the curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning profiles, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to engage with and succeed in science education.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students with special educational needs.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to learn.
Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to address the specific learning goals and challenges of individual students.
Assess student progress using a variety of assessment methods and provide timely feedback to students and families.
Foster a love of science and curiosity about the natural world through hands-on experiments, exploration, and inquiry-based learning experiences.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in special education and science instruction.

Qualifications:

QTS certificate
Teaching certification/license in Science Education or Special Education.
Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
Strong knowledge of science curriculum standards and effective instructional practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
