An opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join a global leader in the Power Transmission Industry.
Our client has already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects and on the back of this they have recently been awarded another major contract and thus require a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join their team.
The client has numerous Assembly and Service Centres in the UK and strategically located operations all over the World.

DUTIES included for the role of Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter :

Strip and inspect industrial components and record the condition of component parts.
Collate details and produce a concise structured report.
When appropriate liaise with colleagues on technical aspects of the job to identify failure modes and potential improvements.
Mechanical fitting: building up assemblies adjusting limits and fits to achieve a functional unit.
Liaison with customers in respect of technical issues e.g., failure modes.


KEEN to speak to Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter who are :

Experience in the build of intricate components as part of the manufacturing process.
Able to use power and hand tools / drilling / tapping process.
Able to read and assemble to CAD manufacturing drawings.


THE Offer for the role of Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter :

PAYE - £16.00 an hour , regular days.
Agency Contract – ongoing work.
Modern manufacturing workplace - all tooling provided.
