Bank Care Assistant - Peripatetic

A local premier care organisation is now looking for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with elderly care experience to join their staff bank as a Bank Care Assistant, which will give you the option to pick up shifts at care homes across the area as and when you want.You won’t be limited to just one home but will be able to move across multiple Northumberland / Tyneside care homes (within a radius of about 2 - 5 miles) for extra flexibility.

(You will need access to a car).As a Bank Care Assistant, you’ll help ensure residents gets the support they need when there are absences in the team, such as due to sickness or annual leave.Whether through assisting with daily living activities or through conversation and companionship, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each residents gets the highest quality and consistency of care possible.This is a bank position for a Care Assistant (ad-hoc shifts). Person specification:
(Essential) Previous experience in elderly care(Essential) UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle(Desirable) Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
