Graduate Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for a Graduate Engineer who has 2+ years’ experience who wants to progress within the company.

You will need to have ambitions into becoming Chartered and becoming a Senior member of the team.

This consultancy has an office in Derby and is offering a hybrid role.
Minimum requirements:

Accredited First Class/2:1 Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
Graduate Member of appropriate professional body (ICE or IStructE)
Ambitions to become a Chartered Engineer
2/3 years experience is ideal

The role:

Undertake assignments in the UK and overseas, as directed.
Adopt procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company’s technical work product.
Structural design, assessments and finite elements analysis using various software.
Structural inspection and onsite works supervision in the UK and overseas
Adhere to Company procedures in the management, delivery, and administration of Services.
Embrace organisational change and appropriately modify behaviour and attitudes as required.
Have an understanding and awareness of the company values and business plan and your contribution to both.
Observe and maintain Company Health and Safety Policy across all activities.
Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by your assignment or line manager.
