Sales & Events Manager – New Restaurant OpeningLondonUp to £55,000 plus bonusWe are seeking a Sales & Events Manager to spearhead the management of private event bookings for this exciting new restaurant opening.
From initial enquiry to flawless execution, you will be pivotal in ensuring the guests' events exceed expectations.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for both reactive and proactive sales efforts, ensuring targets are met while delivering exceptional service.Role Responsibilities & Duties
Oversee every aspect of event bookings, from initial contact to handover to the operational team on the day.Actively seek new business opportunities through networking and relationship building.Serve as the primary point of contact for all enquiries via telephone, email, and their CRM system.Manage event planning and details by liaising closely with hosts to meet their needs.Coordinate event logistics, including timing and equipment requirements.Collaborate closely with the operational team to ensure successful and budget-compliant events.
Who are we looking for?
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the sales & event industry, preferably within Restaurants.Proven track record of successfully managing events for up to 200 guests.Proficient in using event booking systems and CRM systems.Previous operational experience is advantageous.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.Fluent in English with excellent organisational skills.Reliable team player with the ability to work within a diverse team.Computer literacy, especially in Opera, Micros, and Adaco, is advantageous.Personal license holder.
