Lead Radiographer

Lead Radiographer Location: Central London Salary: £50,000 p/annum + enhancements & benefits!Fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Radiographer to join the Imaging team, work closely with the Imaging Manager and help with the day-to-day running of the department.Perfect opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Radiographer looking for that step up into a Lead role!Qualifications for this position

Degree level or equivalent
HCPC Registered with no restrictions against your pin
Minimum of 4-5 years UK Experience within either NHS or Private
General x-ray, C-arm, Dental experience including CBCT
Trauma and Orthopaedic experience essential
Initiative and ability to run and manage a small department
Communication skills to deal with Senior Leadership, consultants and associated teams
Proficient in Radiation Safety with experience in QA
Evidence of recent CPD incl.

audits
Proficient in IT skills to manage Biotronics PACS imaging systems, IEP, Microsoft teams

Day-to-day tasks

Support with the daily running of the Imaging department
Promote (CPD) and ensure that the quality assurance programme is met within the main x-ray department.
Demonstrate the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Be always professionally responsible with all aspects of your work, whilst working in a safe timely manner.
Be able to identity risks/safety issues to patients in the clinical setting and raising this effectively with appropriate members of staff.
