Technician Mechanic 

Job overview of a Technician Mechanic:
To undertake the assembly, installation,modification , repair/maintenance and diagnostics of mechanical equipment within the boat building process.

Key responsibilities of a Technician Mechanic:

- To undertake the installation, modification and maintenance of marine mechanical equipment and systems.
- To undertake the testing/commissioning of marine mechanical equipment and systems.
- To undertake the fabrication of marine components through a process of pattern development, cutting and assembly of the selected material.
- Take part in sea trials.
- Delivery of boats to and from the coast 
- Confirmation and compliance of tasks delivery against standards 

Experience Required for a Technician Mechanic:
 

- Working from engineering drawings.
- Extensive experience  on the assembly of mechanical equipment  withing a marine environment.
