Maintenance Technician - Part Time

The Role
Part Time Maintenance Technician - 20 Hours per Week - Southport - Temporary Contract from 1st April - 30th (Sept Extra Hrs to cover holidays)  £11.44 per hour

Shift pattern 

- 2 Week Shift Rotation 
- Week 1 (2 days out of 7)
- Week 2 (3 days out of 7)

Duties

-        Responsible for cleansing, litter picking and emptying bins.

To carry out cleansing and maintenance visits to car park sites in line with the agreed schedule, including full completion of all records.

- Responsible for other minor car park site and infrastructure maintenance, at the direction of the Supervisor including Gardening and other minor landscaping works.

- Implementation of signs and coning for parking suspensions and temporary restrictions

- To be responsible for pay and display machine routine and reactivate maintenance.

To immediately report and where possible, rectify out of order pay and display machines to the management team member on duty.

-         To ensure that the machines are clean externally on a regular basis.

-        To use and be responsible for the care and general maintenance of any company equipment allocated for daily tasks to be carried out.

-         Gritting of entrances to Carparks in extremely cold weather. 
-         To Carry out any other reasonable requests by Apcoa/Client.  

- Required
·       Be able to work in a fast- paced environment.
·       Be able to work in all weather conditions.
·       Full UK driving licence
 
Experience
·       1 years’ experience maintenance
·       Basic DIY and Gardening knowledge
·       A strong understanding Health and Safety
·       Knowledge of COSHH
·       Manual Handling
 
Education
·       Maths and English
