Job Title: Automatic Door Engineer
Location: Swanley (Mobile Role – Contracts around South East)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Van
Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our team. The role is mobile, covering contracts across the South East, with a base in Swanley. As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of both automatic and manual swing doors across a variety of client sites.
Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and service automatic and manual swing doors at client premises.
Carry out repairs and fault diagnosis for automatic doors.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Complete service reports and documentation for each job.
Maintain a well-stocked van and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Manage your own schedule to ensure all appointments are met in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience Required:Minimum 1 year of experience in installing and maintaining automatic and/or manual swing doors.
Strong knowledge of automatic door systems and manual swing doors.
Ability to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and professionally.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and workload.
Additional Requirements:Must have a valid UK Driver’s License with no more than 6 penalty points.
Experience working in the South East area is desirable.
Willingness to travel to various sites within the South East region.
