Psychiatrist - Child, Adolescent & Youth

THE POSITION
The position is for a motivated and dedicated individual to join the Child, Adolescent & Youth Mental Health Service (CAYMHS) as a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist.

This full-time position will be divided between the newly established Safeguards Team (ST) as 0.5 FTE and our dynamic Child and Adolescent Team as 0.5 FTE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the development of psychiatry services within the CAYMHS framework.
Facilitate a culture of learning and best practice among team members.
Contribute to mental health research initiatives within the department.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will be required to meet the following criteria:

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or approved equivalent.


Eligible for registration by the Medical Board of Australia
Membership of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (RANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
