Finance Manager

As part of their continued growth and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join their team.As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial aspects of the operations.

Will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting functions to ensure the financial health and success of the group.

Additionally, they will collaborate closely with department heads to optimise financial performance and support strategic decision-making.Key duties:The role:
Responsible for the weekly and monthly consolidated management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Key metrics) and information packs.Continuous improvement of the Group's monthly financial reporting process and controls.Regular review and substantiation of the Group balance sheet and key controls.Provide technical accounting expertise and maintain the Group's accounting and financial policies.Assist with the consolidation and preparation of annual statutory financial statements for Group.Assist with the planning and execution of the Groups year end audit to ensure it is delivered on time and to budget.Ensure the Group financial control environment is robust and all financial reporting requirements across the company are met to a high standard. Identify opportunities to strengthen the financial control environment and manage the resulting implementation.Other Group Finance Manager activities as required to support the Group Financial Controller.
Requirements
Strong management reporting experienceProven relevant accounting experience and technical knowledge (Financial / Management information)Strong attention to detail and a controls-focusTeam player committed to ensuring that the overall team objectives are metThe candidate should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMASound finance experience working with an Academy currently or within the past 5 yearsAbility to Line ManageGood knowledge of MS excel and Sage.
