Patent Attorney

Are you a Patent Attorney wondering if you still want to be a Patent Attorney? Is it all feeling a bit stagnant and ‘same old’? Maybe this could be the role you need to help you fall in love with your career again…
My client is a forward thinking, entrepreneurial IP firm with a brand new opening for an Attorney who is looking for a fresh and interesting career move.

They have a super-flexible hybrid working offering and are open to those preferring either a full time or reduced hours week.

This role is not about the churn; it’s all about your clients be that portfolio management, offering strategic, commercial advice or exploring new opportunities with new clients.

Of course, there will still be core Attorney work including drafting and prosecuting but there will also be scope for you to be involved in oppositions and hearings, freedom to operate, patent searching, due diligence and lots, lots more.
A real differential here will be your line manager – they are fab! A real breath of fresh air, they have oodles of experience and will be your biggest cheerleader as you progress your career.

They will support and encourage, taking you out of your comfort zone and most importantly, you will feel like a team.

Those with an academic background in physical sciences would be of particular interest and ideally you will either be qualified or will have started sitting for your exams.
If you’re keen to discover more about this friendly and informal IP firm who are committed to career development and actively promote a healthy work-life balance, then Lisa Kelly would be delighted to discuss this further on 0113 467 9793 or via: lisa.kelly@saccomann.com
