The Role of Field Service Engineer 
As a Machine Tool Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of machine tools and equipment.

You will be responsible for installation, servicing, diagnosing and performing repairs on a wide range of CNC and automation systems.

Whilst predominantly a field-based role covering the whole of the UK you will also be involved in machine preparation at the showroom.

This role is a field-based position, suitable candidate locations could include: Kenilworth, Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham, Hinckley, Loughborough or Rugby

Duties and Responsibilities of Field Service Engineer:

- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machine tools, CNC equipment, and automation systems.
- Diagnose technical issues, develop solutions, and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance machine longevity.
- Collaborate with the service department to provide technical assistance and resolve customer concerns.
- Keep accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements for CNC Service Engineer:

- Must have experience servicing, maintaining or installing CNC Mills, Lathes, Machining centres, Router, Waterjets or similar industrial machinery
- Previous experience in Field Service is beneficial
- Valid UK driving licence 
- HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Machine Tool Service Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC systems, automation, and machine tool operation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Salary/ Package for CNC Engineer:

- Salary: Up to £40,000 per year
- Starting salary will be dependent on industry experience
- 40-hour week Monday-Friday

- 10% bonus depending on company performance
