Project Engineer
The duties can include, but are not limited to the following:
• Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned project scope of work.
• Identify and report improvements to the engineering process.
• Ensure that lessons learned are collated on a continuous basis throughout the duration of the project and write an experience feedback report at the end of the project.
• Assist with the technical evaluation of tenders and develop method statements.
• Assist Project manager, Offshore Manager and Shift Supervisors with knowledge acquired during planning and execution of the offshore operation.
The Project Engineer shall:
• Deliver project work performed within Reach Subsea AS.
• Develop method statements and FEED studies.
• Perform installation analysis and calculations.
• Carry out deck layout optimisation.
• Assist with fabrication design and manufacturing support for general deck & subsea equipment/tooling.
• Develop engineering support for subsea installation, IMR and decommissioning project scopes.
HSEQ statement: Responsibility for contributing and participating in the Company's HSEQ- efforts in the daily work.
• Ensure understanding of the HSEQ obligations and how they are managed.
• Ensure that decision-making processes include consideration of HSEQ- implications.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous HSEQ improvement
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BSC or higher graduation within Subsea, Marine/Naval, Machine, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training.
Offshore safety training, as required by UK and Norwegian regulations.
Approved medical certificate for offshore installations and vessels.
SKILLS: Analytical thinking.
Problem solving.
Writing and presentation.
Use of computers and software.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Engineering standards and legislation.
Offshore operations and subsea engineering.
