Electrician - High Voltage - Lancashire - Salary £45,000 - £49,000 DOE CBW has a new opportunity for a high voltage electrician to join an established FM company on a permanent basis.
The sucessful candidate willl provide electrical and buildingservices maintenance to commercial buildings.
This will include electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation.
Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repairs overhead and underground distribution systems, including transformers, circuit interrupters, reclosers, capacitors, voltage regulators, medium voltage switches, utility poles, and supporting hardware.• Replace and install medium voltage overhead and underground electrical circuits and terminations.• Fabricate and install a variety of components including but not limited to duct banks, cable runs, concrete pads for electrical equipment, risers, transformer banks, and low voltage electrical panels.• Inspect overhead and underground distribution systems, tests, and documents findings.• Responds to emergency calls and takes necessary actions.• Provide on the job training to apprentices.• Operate a variety of testing, calibration and repair devices, tools and equipment including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, insulation resistance testers, high potential test sets, circuit breaker testers, etc.• Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
