Team Leader- Supported Pathways Are you a passionate, dedicated Team Leader looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Team Leader to join the team based in Southeast London SE1.Full time Post 36 hours per week£22.83 - £29.42 per hour Umbrella RatesAbout the Service:Manage a small caseload and lead a team of Supported Pathway Officers and Caretaker in providing the safe smooth daily running of a Supported Housing service.

Oversee the safety and move on of all residents, working closing with support agencies to ensure that necessary support is agreed so they can move on successfully and sustain their tenancies.Information on the Role:
Demonstrate detailed knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation and issues relating to vulnerable adults, for example Housing, Health and Social Care, homelessness, rough sleeping, immigration, welfare benefit and embed and utilise psychologically informed practice throughout the hostel service, in the delivery of case management, training and staff management.Work with other team leaders and across all hostels to ensure staff provide a consistent customer focussed high-quality service across all supported hostels.Ensure that staff understand the principles of trauma informed care and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences and that they carry out client centred key- working, high quality risk assessment and support planning.Work with the Supported Pathways manager to manage activities, resources, people and information through innovative and robust performance management techniques in order to facilitate and continually improving service.Monitoring of rent and service charge accounts for the hostel, undertaking all aspects of arrears recovery on accounts up to and including legal actions in relation to the hostels and maximising residents income and benefitsMonitoring of rent and service charge accounts for the hostel, undertaking all aspects of arrears recovery on accounts up to and including legal actions in relation to the hostels and maximising residents income and benefitsDeal proactively with behavioural issues within the hostel, working with residents to understand the impact of their behaviour, using ABCs and participating in evictions as required.Work collaboratively with other services to safeguard hostel residents, such as referring and reporting to ASC, SOVA, MARAC panels and other services involved in your resident’s care.Regular Liaison with DWP, Adult Social Services, GPs, hospitals and other health agencies to ensure that residents receive necessary and appropriate support and services.
Essential Requirements:
Knowledge of the impact of Adverse Child Experiences and the principles of Trauma Informed Care when dealing with homeless people who have complex needs.Knowledge of the relevant legislation and the available support in relation to single homeless adults including Homelessness, the Care Act and HousingExperience of working with homeless people with complex support needs             Experience of risk assessment, keyworking and support planningGood IT skillsExcellent written and communication skillsTo be flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
