This involves shaping the product roadmap and leveraging innovative technologies such as underground surveying, 3D printing, and swarm robotics driven by AI and ML algorithms.

Key Responsibilities of this Senior Electrical Design Engineer job based in Basingstoke, Hampshire are:

- Develop innovative electrical controls and software solutions.
- Prototype development and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with internal design protocols and safety standards.
- Design and implement electrical control solutions for robotic hardware.
- Support cost optimisation efforts.
- Develop test rigs and fixtures for robot fleet development.

Key skills required for this Senior Electrical Design Engineer role:

-Proficiency in low voltage electrical design and schematics.
-Experience in cable selection, sizing, and fault protection.
-Knowledge of safety circuit design and regulatory compliance.
-Familiarity with battery-powered systems and SolidWorks Electrical
-PLC programming (e.G., Beckhoff PLC/TwinCat)
- Motion controller programming (e.G., Maxon MiniMACS6).
