Management Accountant

They are searching for a talented Management Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping their financial performance and future growthReporting to the MD this is a great hands-on fully rounded role for a talented Finance professional to grow and learn.

It is a small company so this role will manage the finances in the business from end to end with input from the MD.Key Responsibilities:
Preparing all month end reportsResponsibility for accurate P&L reporting as well as Balance Sheet reconciliationsWorking with the MD to do margin checks and commentary on the monthly reportsDay to day bookkeepingInvoicing and purchase invoicing as neededPreparing and posting month end journalsCompiling accruals and prepaymentsCredit control, chasing and monitoring debtor accounts on an ongoing basis.Managing audits and resolving discrepancies.Validating new supplier setups / change requests.VAT return preparation and filing - UK and other jurisdictions as requiredManaging creditors and paymentsFiling CT returns and accounts at Companies HouseHelping MD with budgeting and forecasting and updating the model as requiredAd hoc commercial finance tasks to analyze activityFiling and other ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications/Skills
Experience with managing the financial accounting process in a small businessE-commerce finance preferable.Ability to problem solve and work in a logical manner.Good attention to detail.Ability to be receptive of change and manage changes in working practices.Part qualified or started accounting studies; basic accounting knowledge (double entry) or a finance graduate.Good to excellent excel and general IT skills.Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central essential.
