Full time: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

As part of the Customer Experience and Research Team, the Research Manager will lead all main research efforts for the Group.

They will create and implement research plans, collaborate with outside research agencies, and manage budgets and results efficiently.

This is a Primary Consumer Research role (not desk research) and is a pure mapping position (not developing the customer journey as there is another team which focuses on that).

The successful candidate will understand UX and CX (mainly CX)

The Role:

Ensure timely delivery of research insights as per requirements.
Translate requests into appropriate research methodologies, collaborating with agencies as needed.
Identify business challenges where research can provide solutions by working with internal stakeholders.
Manage relationships with research agencies and maintain a roster of qualified partners.
Foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders and business units.
Coordinate with the strategic research team to determine the suitability of primary or secondary research.
Ensure research projects are on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining quality standards and managing risks.
Oversee external agencies and conduct rigorous research using innovative methodologies.
Produce high-quality research outputs and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Customer Experience Manager and internal colleagues to incorporate internal data into research.
Evaluate research impact and apply learnings for continuous improvement.
Develop surveys for internal and external use, ensuring clarity and alignment with objectives.
Stay updated on research trends and identify new opportunities.
Provide leadership and support in the department's growth and development.
Assist the Customer Experience Team in understanding CX metrics and methodologies as needed.


Who are we looking for?


Proficient in various research methodologies, selecting the most suitable for business requirements.
CX Understanding with B2B and B2C or B2C is essential.
Familiarity with leading research software and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Extensive managerial experience in similar sectors, demonstrating expertise in research.
Skilled in designing and managing complex research projects using diverse methods.
Strong project management abilities, effectively handling multiple projects with attention to budget, time, quality, and risk.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of producing clear and persuasive research outputs for different audiences.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive, fostering open and collaborative relationships.
Proficient in influencing stakeholders and explaining concepts effectively.
