Do you have experience working in a mental health setting?Service Care Solutions are working with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a Band 6 Physiotherapist to support an Older Persons Inpatient Service in the Norwich area.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Physiotherapy Team and provide support to Older adults and Dementia Patients with a range of Mental Health conditions.

The contract duration is for a minimum of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours available.

The successful candidate will provide Physiotherapy for Adults with various mental health conditions.Key Responsibilities

Assessment and Treatment:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
Administer physiotherapy interventions for patients with acute mental health conditions.


Collaborative Care:

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.


Documentation and Education:

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with standards.
Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and self-management.


Professional Development:

Stay updated on physiotherapy and mental health advancements.
Engage in continuous professional development for skill enhancement.


Quality Improvement:

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audits.
Identify areas for improvement and participate in service development.



Requirements

Physiotherapy qualification
HCPC Registration
Experience working in a mental health setting
