Consultant Psychiatrist

One of the UK’s leading independent care providers is now looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join them at their specialist mental health hospital in Hull.The group is highly praised nationally for the quality of its care for people who require some extra support to live well.

Their Hull hospital is a dynamic service specifically dedicated to adults experiencing an enduring and progressive mental health condition, a neurological condition, or have related needs that would benefit from inpatient therapeutic support.You will join a strong multidisciplinary team that works hard to empower each patient and maximise quality of life through person-centred treatment pathways and bespoke therapy programmes.

At all times, your goal will be to enable patients to make lasting improvements in their mental health, regain independence, and smoothly transition to a less formal or more community-based setting.This is a temporary, part-time (20h) position for a Consultant Psychiatrist. Person specification:
(Essential) GMC-recognised medical degree(Essential) MRCPsych qualification(Essential) GMC registration with a licence to practise, plus inclusion on the Specialist Register in general psychiatry(Essential) Eligibility for Section 12 approval, or eligibility within 6 months of interview
